Melissa, has spent the majority of her illustrious career in the AE industry in various roles ranging from finance and project accounting to ERP systems administration including implementation, customization and training. At Structures, she will utilize this range of experience to assist operationally in the areas of finance, business development, software administration, marketing assistance, human resource assistance and any other opportunity where we can use her vast wealth of talent.

What was the biggest risk you have ever taken?

At some point, I decided that I needed to “run away” from my life and experience a completely different
culture. So, I sold my things, loaded a backpack, and took off alone to live in Costa Rica. Did I mention I
barely speak Spanish?

Skydiving is another big one for me. The first roll out of the plane was cathartic…I highly recommend it!

What are your hobbies?

I am currently learning to play the Hammond organ in a rock power trio.

Where would you live, if it couldn’t be Austin?

Outside the US on a beach….pura vida. OR somewhere in the country surrounded by nature, lots of space, the simple life…and NO traffic!

What is on your bucket list?

I would like to travel to Italy and Thailand.

If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you?

If the weather is nice…sitting outside on a patio somewhere enjoying a cocktail. If the weather is not nice…curled up on the couch watching movies.
