The 65,000 sf, three story, Felix Fraga Academic Center is the first phase of development on the new Houston Community College Drennen Campus. The center houses spaces for the community college and the Houston ISD.
Included in the center are an electronic resource center, student services area, classrooms, recreation area, clinic, offices and maintenance. 20,000 sf of the center is allocated for the Houston ISD early college program. The center is also made up of exterior spaces that are inviting and encourage gathering and interaction.
The center aims to link feeder public elementary, junior and senior high schools to Houston Community College and allows continued education and availability of advanced technical skills training for any citizen.
