UT DFA Building Co-op Fine Arts Student Center Renovation
The project consisted of the demolition and renovation of the basement level of the Doty Fine Art Building to remove the abandoned food service kitchen and student lounge and provide a new student center.
The building envelope was expanded into the courtyard patio to increase the office area that includes a new multipurpose student center with gallery space, a coffee shop managed by O’s Campus Cafe, informal study and lounge spaces, and new offices for Fine Art Career Services.
The project also included renovation of the existing rest rooms to bring them into compliance with current accessibility codes.
