Although government projects tend to have more processes associated with them, Structures’ detailed and thorough design and construction administration processes has allowed us to accommodate the challenges these entities have placed on us. One of these challenges is the design-build delivery method.

Due to project financial and schedule constraints, governmental entities are challenging design and construction teams to complete projects using the design-build delivery method. We are accustomed to working alongside an architect and a general contractor to identify and prevent conflicts that may arise during the construction phase of a project. The prevention of these conflicts help assure meeting a project’s budget and deadlines.

Another challenge government entities are placing on design and construction teams is the need to meet minority hiring goals. As a HUB, DBE, MBE and SBE certified firm we can help architects and contractors meet or exceed minority hiring requirements in a sub-consultant capacity.
