Ryan returned to Structures in 2011 after previously serving as an intern engineer with Structures in 2005. He spent his interim time working in Dallas designing higher education, healthcare and public sector projects. One of the projects consisted of a new government center which included a clustered building configuration connected by a common arching steel atrium.
